ACM CODE OF ETHICS

Respect means deference to a right, privilege, privileged position, or someone or something considered to have certain rights or privileges; proper acceptance or courtesy. Knows that you care how information about you is used and shared, and we appreciate your trust that we will do so carefully and sensibly. In an organization it is an important part that the member of the organization must know on how they shared their information to others.In the firm also we respect to the use, safeguarding and disclosure of nonpublic personal information collected by the firm in order to assure compliance by The firm with federal and applicable state laws and regulations concerning privacy of consumer financial information.

2.3 Know and respect existing laws pertaining to professional work
In every professional work there is policies and procedures exist in which the participant or the employee must obeyed. The participant must also respect the laws or policies that might be exist in an organization. Every individual in an organization should know the policies in order to avoid violation of the law and regulation. Violation of law or regulation may be ethical when that law or rule has inadequate moral basis or when it conflicts with another law judged to be more important. We recognize the efforts of the organization in their timely communication with the employee everywhere to make them aware in making violation.

3. Organizational Leadership Imperatives
3.1 Articulate social responsibilities of members of an organizational unit and encourage full acceptance of those responsibilities
3.2 Mange personal and resources to design and build information system that enhance the quality of working life
3.3 Acknowledge and support proper and authorized uses of an organization's computing and communications resources
3.4 Ensure the users and those who will be affected by a system have their needs clearly articulated during the assessment and design of requirement.Later the system must be validated to meet requirements
3.5 Articulate and support policies that protect the dignity of users and others affected by a computing system
3.6 Create opportunities for members of the organization to learn the principles and limitation of computer systems

This principles is designing or implementing system that deliberates demean individuals or groups is ethically unacceptable.
It is very difficult to define the concept and enforcement itself might be a dangerous government intrusion. In the internet many policies made in order to protect the dignity of the user. The Internet of the united states may need citizen journalists to keep it open and useful..

Reaction
In the firm, direct communication with the employee who has committed the violation, and reporting the violation to the appropriate authority or to the person who manage the firm. This principle is concerned with how these fundamental imperatives apply to one's conduct as a computing professional. These imperatives are expressed in a general form to emphasize that ethical principles which apply to computer ethics. Employee must fully accept responsibilities for ones action and for the consequences. So, if you are already employee in that certain organization you should know and respect there existing laws and obey it.
